JNow that the "Waldpiraten" have their own site, we need you. In order to maintain and continue this newly established pirates' den, we need money. Lots of money.

Every year, between 300 to 400 children can take part in the summer camp sessions. In order to make the camp available for every child, their stay is free of charge (except for a small registration fee). As a charity organization, the German Childhood Cancer Foundation is not supported by public funding, thus entirely dependent on donations. To maintain the camp site, to provide food, accommodation and an unforgettable recreation program to all children with cancer an estimated amount of 800.000 to 850.000 € per year is needed.

Help us to give our sick children a holiday from their severe illness and to give them courage and hope for their future lives. After all, what is money compared to the laughter of a child?
