Welcome to the “Waldpiraten”

The Waldpiraten-Camp is a project of the German Childhood Cancer Foundation, which could be established with the help of many sponsors - especially the German parent initiatives for children with cancer. The camp opened its doors in August 2003. Since then, special camps have been organised for children and teenagers with cancer - as well as their brothers and sisters - during the school vacation season. Weekend seminars and other events for families with a child suffering from cancer or young adult patients are organized all year round.
